LCN has entered into a partnership with Lutheran owners of Oceanfront Condos in Cancun, Mexico. This is a great laid back resort with personality! Solymar is one hotel and condo association that doesn’t let "Spring Breakers" attend. The crowd is middle age to retired with the majority being Canadian or US citizens.
The grounds are immaculate with coconut palms and numerous garden areas. The staff is friendly. Your waiter or waitress for your stay becomes a welcome smile at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals can be buffet or individual items cooked to your order. A meal card can be purchased for guests allowing a substantial discount on your meals and beverages for a set daily fee.
The pools are clean and refreshing with a pool bar with seating in the pool or outside the pool. There is also a huge, funky bar down on the beach as well as one off the resort lobby. Palapas provide shade on the beach with its cool, soft limestone sugar sand to dig your toes into.
The water is crystal clear, sometimes blue, sometimes green and indescribable! You can swim, bodysurf, or enjoy water sports for an extra fee to the beach vendors. Walk in the surf or snorkel in the calmer Club Med lagoon a brisk walk away from Solymar. You can play tennis at the Solymar tennis courts if you need a break from the pools, sand, ocean, and surf.
The staff can arrange sightseeing trips to other parts of the Mayan Riviera from exploring ancient ruins to duty free shopping. A small store within the resort can supply you with basic necessities.
When the Lutheran condo owners have no vacancy, the condo association the Lutheran owners belong to offer their units to LCN for rent. Both the LCN Lutheran condo owners and the Solymar Condo Association gives LCN a 10% discount for providing them renters. This rebate flows back to LCN for distribution to your Church, District, Synod and RSO.
However, in the event a rebate comes to LCN from a Lutheran owner of the condo you rent, 50% goes to LCN and 50% comes back to you. In the event you rent the condo from the Solymar Condo Association and not a Lutheran condo owner the 10% rebate comes back to LCN to be distributed to your Church, District, Synod, RSO, and other Lutheran Ministries.
Remember to call LCN Toll Free at 1-877-224-0438 so we can make sure you and/or your Lutheran Ministries gets the rebate. LCN will do all the scheduling for your Cancun Condo in conjunction with the Lutheran condo owners and or Solymar Condo Association.
